On the evening of May 29, the final round of the Contest for “Good voices and songs about Hai Phong 2022” took place at the City Opera House. Attending the event were Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, Member of Standing Committee of the City Party Committee cum Head of the City Party Committee’s Propaganda Bureau, and leaders of related Departments, agencies, and units.
The contest, co-hosted by Hai Phong Department of Culture and Sports and Performing Arts Center, took place from May 15 to May 29, attracting a large number of music lovers inside and outside the city to participate. The performed song praised the love of homeland, revolutionary tradition, cultural values and people of Hai Phong, thereby introducing and advertising the city’s economic and social achievements to friends domestically and internationally.
Through the contest, the Organization found new vocalists for the city’s singing movement, motivated musicians to compose songs about Hai Phong – the city of Red Flamboyant Flowers, and bringing closer at the same time composed songs about Hai Phong to music lovers.
At the final round, contestant Nguyen Thi Doan Trang excellently won the first prize, 02 second prizes, 03 third prizes and 04 prospect prizes were awarded to outstanding candidates.
The contest is a useful playground organized annually for music lovers. It is also a meaningful gift and sentiment of the city’s music and art creators to celebrate the 67th anniversary of Hai Phong Liberation and the Red Flamboyant Flower Festival – Hai Phong 2022./.
