Along with the technical infrastructure items invested in synchronous and modern construction and many large works and projects being implemented in the area, creating the premise to build the New Urban Area of Bac Song Cam into a green, civilized, modern urban area with the following functions: Administrative - political center; financial, service, commercial center; cultural center; park center, ecological greenery; high-quality residential area and an important area for national defense and security. This urban area, together with the entertainment area, housing and Vu Yen island ecological park invested by Vingroup, creates a new, dynamic and modern city of Thuy Nguyen.
Stretching to the Southeast of the city, a new, modern multifunctional urban area, connected to the historic inner city area by a high-speed traffic corridor (Pham Van Dong Street, Lach Tray Street) is taking shape.
