The announcement ceremony was attended by Mr. Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hai Phong Party Committee, Head of the Party's Commission for Publicity and Education, and President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Hai Phong City. Also present were leaders from the Department of Foreign Affairs, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, various city departments, business associations, and other related parties.

Mr. Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the Party’s Commission for Publicity and Education, officially handed over the certification to establish the Club and presented flowers to congratulate the members.
In his speech, Mr. Le Van Quy, Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Hai Phong City, highlighted that in recent years, the relationship between Vietnam and China has been continuously maintained and developed, achieving significant results. Chinese investment in Vietnam has steadily increased, with Hai Phong currently hosting 405 Chinese-invested projects, with a total investment of USD 6.14 billion. To further strengthen the friendly relations and cooperation between businesses in Hai Phong and those in China, the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Hai Phong officially established the Vietnam-China Business Club under its management. The Club aims to mobilize and gather businesses and entrepreneurs to join, contributing to enhancing trade and investment cooperation between enterprises from both countries in Hai Phong. It also seeks to improve the quality and effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy, deepening the relationship between the people of Hai Phong and the people of China.

The Club also announced the induction of new members during the event.
To ensure the effective operation of the Club and meet its objectives, the Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Hai Phong expressed the desire for the Hai Phong People’s Committee, relevant departments, and localities to support the Club's participation in the city’s exchange programs, cooperation efforts, and investment promotion activities with Chinese regions and enterprises. He also requested that the Steering Committee and all members actively advise the Association, collaborate closely with local departments, and promote awareness of Vietnam-China relations among officials, members, and the general public, emphasizing the development of friendly ties and economic cooperation between Hai Phong businesses and Chinese enterprises.
The Vice President further encouraged the Club to expand its partnerships with Chinese businesses investing in Vietnam and Hai Phong. The Club should proactively engage in investment promotion programs in China to attract Chinese investments into the city. Additionally, it should contribute to establishing and improving the Club’s operational regulations, increase efforts in member recruitment, strengthen member support and connections, and ensure businesses fulfill their social responsibilities. The Club is also tasked with promoting mutual understanding and support among its members and developing plans to enhance business cooperation between Hai Phong and Chinese enterprises.
On behalf of all Club members, Mr. Bui Thanh Giang, President of the Vietnam-China Business Club, thanked the city authorities, leadership of the Association, and other departments for their support. He expressed the Club’s commitment to fulfilling its duties, enhancing friendly relations with Chinese businesses in production and business cooperation. He affirmed that through such efforts, the Club aims to make significant contributions to the socio-economic development of Hai Phong, while strengthening the friendship and cooperation between the people of Hai Phong and China, as well as between the people of Vietnam and China more broadly.
