The Swedish group leader affirmed that 5G and digital transformation play an important role in promoting inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development, ensuring broader prosperity for all Vietnamese.

Business-government partnerships play a critical role in supporting Vietnam's digital transformation and sustainable development journey. According to Ericsson, this partnership is necessary to address some of Vietnam's key challenges, including climate change, attracting high-tech foreign investment, improving productivity, and fostering innovation and business morale.

Ericsson is fully supportive of the government's strategy and clear vision of net-zero carbon dioxide emissions. The company is committed to helping Vietnam achieve this goal through partnerships with Vietnam's mobile operators and strategic cooperation with EVN - the largest electricity supplier in Vietnam, as well as 5G application in emissions management.

Lessons on digital transformation

When speaking about Ericsson's own digital transformation process, Mr. Brunetti shared some of the company's challenges that Vietnamese businesses could learn from.

The first challenge is fierce competition in the technology market, which requires continuous innovation and investment in R&D.

However, this requires a significant amount of resources and effort, necessitating company leadership to balance short-term results with long-term investments in innovation.

The second challenge is staying up-to-date with the latest technology developments and trends while ensuring that products and services remain relevant and competitive.

In response to these challenges, the Swedish company is focused on building a robust innovation culture where every employee is empowered to take risks and think outside the box.

Mr. Brunetti concluded that the human resources are the key to Ericsson's success. Ericsson attracts and retains the best talent, and fosters a culture of innovation and collaboration. As a result, they are confident that they can continue to lead the industry and make a positive impact on the world.
