Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People’s Committee, and leaders of related departments, units and localities inspected the temporary market.
(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of March 02, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People’s Committee, did the field inspection to make sure the receiving conditions for business households that moved their business location from Iron Market (Sat market) to the temporary market at No. 20 Truong Chinh Street of Kien An District. Attending the site inspection were leaders of Kien An District People’s Committee, Office of the City People’s Committee, and leader of Sai Gon Match – Garment Joint Stock Company.
After the site inspection and listening to the report of Kien An District People’s Committee, opinions and suggestions of business households, Chairman of the City People’s Committee assigned Kien An District to immediately remove inappropriate advertising signs at the temporary market area, and urgently recover land area of 1,200m2 under Niem Bridge’s traffic corridor, which is illegally used by Thanh Son Industrial and Commercial Joint Stock Company and 01 household, to hand over to the Sai Gon Match – Garment Joint Stock Company to complete before March 10, 2022.
The Chairman of the City People’s Committee communicated and listened to opinions of business households.
Chairman of the City People’s Committee requested the Sai Gon Match – Garment Joint Stock Company to soon establish the logo “Hai Phong Iron Market” at the temporary market’s entry gate and at the corner intersected between Tan Ha and Niem Bridge’s roads.
Kien An District has continuously implemented guidance of the Chairman of the City People’s Committee noted in Announcement No. 68/TB-UBND issued on 21/02/2022, researching and receiving opinions and suggestions of business households, supplement and adjustment to items at the temporary market to guarantee best conditions for business households’’ business activities (such as a full implementation of all items regarding firefighting, investment to anti-heat system, installing more roofs between aisles; replace partition between business counters with trellis if business households agree, etc.).
Also, investment fund to renovate the traffic corridor area is handed over by Kien An District, by March 21, 2022, toward planting trees in combination with parking lots. After completion, the area will be handed over to the locality for management and collaboration for use, maintenance, and repair. Work closely with Kien An District People’s Committee to accomplish all the aforementioned guidance, facilitating necessary conditions to relocating business households to the temporary market.
The Chairman directed to ensure best conditions for business activities in the temporary market.
Regarding the relocations of business households from Iron Market to the Kien An temporary market, after the field inspection and opinions from the business households, in order to facilitate relocation, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee requested to adjust travel time and hand over stalls to Hai Thanh Joint Venture Limited Company. Accordingly, from March 05, 2022 to March 15, 2022, all business households including front-end ones and remaining ones in the Iron Market will be relocated to the temporary market and handing over stalls to the Hai Thanh Joint Venture Limited Company.
