In 2024, propaganda and administrative reform inspection work continued to achieve positive results, contributing significantly to the development and improvement of the effectiveness of state administrative management in ministries, branches and localities. These two activities not only help raise awareness of civil servants and public employees (CBCCVC) but also create consensus among people and businesses on reform policies, promoting socio-economic development.

Regarding information and propaganda work, in 2024, ministries, branches and localities have focused on and strongly implemented. Propaganda activities aim to create unity in awareness and enhance the sense of responsibility of agencies, units and CBCCVC in performing PAR tasks.
Forms of propaganda have been innovated and diversified, taking advantage of the power of social networking platforms such as Zalo, Facebook, YouTube, etc. to reach the public. These activities not only help convey the policies and laws of the Party and the State, but also reflect outstanding results in administrative procedure reform (APR), digital transformation and online public service provision.
One of the outstanding events in propaganda work is the contest to introduce models and present ideas for administrative reform organized in the form of a dramatization in Hanoi in November 2024. This contest attracted the participation of a large number of trade union officials in ministries, branches and localities, creating opportunities to exchange and share effective reform initiatives and models.
Vietnam Television has also actively promoted administrative reform propaganda through more than 30 thematic reports, helping to spread new models and typical examples in reform work. These reports not only focus on administrative procedure reform but also reflect breakthroughs in public services, especially digital transformation solutions to serve people and businesses. According to statistics, in 2024, localities have produced more than 34,000 reports and special articles, organized more than 100 conferences and seminars, and 28 contests to learn about administrative reform, demonstrating strong efforts in propaganda work.
The inspection of administrative reform in 2024 has also been strongly implemented, aiming to assess the actual implementation of administrative reform in ministries, branches and localities. The standing agency of the Government Steering Committee for Administrative Reform has coordinated with ministries, branches and localities to conduct inspections in many localities such as Hai Duong, Dong Nai, Phu Yen, Hoa Binh and Tien Giang. The Government Inspectorate has chaired inspection teams to inspect the responsibility of civil servants in handling administrative procedures and providing public services. The inspection teams have assessed and clarified the results of the implementation of administrative reform and promptly detected shortcomings and limitations to take measures to handle and rectify them. Agencies and units have promptly handled existing problems, contributing to improving administrative discipline and service quality of the state apparatus. Ministries and branches have conducted inspections at 166 affiliated agencies and units and handled 37/139 existing problems, reaching a rate of 26.62%. Localities have inspected 761 agencies and units, handling 1,958/2,056 existing problems, reaching a handling rate of up to 95.23%. This is a very encouraging result, demonstrating the effectiveness of inspection and supervision work in promoting administrative reform. Through the inspection work, agencies and units have promptly developed plans and activities to supplement the contents that need to be improved or handled, and replicate good practices and new models.
The above results show the determination of ministries, branches and localities in public administration reform, improving the quality of service for people and businesses. Propaganda work has contributed to raising awareness and creating social consensus on reform policies, while inspection work helps detect and promptly handle existing problems, thereby contributing to creating positive changes in administrative management. Achievements in propaganda and inspection of public administration reform in 2024 create a solid foundation for the development of the in the following years, towards a Government that best serves the people.
