On the afternoon of October 05, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Tho accompanied by relevant departments’ leaders inspected the Coastal roadway investment project running through Hai Phong City and 09 km in Thai Binh province; Coastal roadway expanding construction and investment project from 353 Road in Hai Phong to Thai Binh bridge.
According to the Project Management Board, they had almost completed the land clearance of the City’s BOT Project while 99.6% of construction land in Thai Binh province had been handed over, the rest of which was expeted to be done in October 2022.
Regarding the construction work, the project’s value was estimated to reach over 1,400 billion dong, equivalent to 47% of the contract’s value. The Project Management Board has curently and contractors worked with sand suppliers to have the supply priority for the projects.
After the inspection, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho gave evaluation regarding the work progress, saying it was lagged behind, notably the work of handling soft weak ground and bridges construction. He requested the Project Management Board and contractors to strictly implement the set plan with specific measures for delayed work for the 353 Road to 212 Road project and the rest of it to be completed before Tet Holiday 2023 and April 30 2023 respectively./.
