On the afternoon of September 14, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee Hoang Minh Cuong hosted a meeting with the Royal Haskoning DHV Group to exchange ideas on the city’s smart port city development potentials and propose green port development strategy for Hai Phong Port. The meeting was attended by leaders of relevant departments and agencies.
At the meeting, Asia-Pacific Commerce Director of the Royal Haskoning DHV Group introduced several projects implemented by the Group in Asian region including Vietnam. The Director underlined that the smart city project attaching with green port development had outstanding features which would be appropriate for the city’s development trend in the future.
Vice Chairman Hoang Minh Cuong welcomed specific suggestions made by the Group, informing that Hai Phong had been interested in implementing digital transformation in logistics service development, masterplan, smartization of individual area, industrial park, clean energy and green port construction. Vice Chairman assigned relevant Departments and agencies to work closely with the Group for further cooperation opportunities in the aforementioned sector./.
