The City People's Committee has just issued Plan No.244/KH-UBND on implementation of QR codes on the nameplates of streets and public works in the city.
Accordingly, it will be implemented for 450 streets and public works in 14/15 districts with about 2,800 nameplates to create tourist attractions and facilitate people to understand the street scale, local traditions, as well as beautiful landscapes and historical sites.
The QR codes attachment is divided into 2 phases, of which, phase 1 will be implemented in 2022 to collect and synthesize information about the biographies of celebrities or the origin, value, and meaning of names given to 450 streets and public works in the city area, then print and attach QR codes on 450 streets and public works (for available ones) in Hai Phong City (expected to finish in November 2022).
Phase 02 will be implemented from 2023 to 2025, based on the practical and effective situation from phase 1, will continuously update and supplement the QR codes information about streets and public works, in which, towards the translation of the encoded information into languages: English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean…/.
