Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee was working at the Department of Industry and Trade.
(HPĐT)- On October 05 morning, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho, Vice Chairman of Hai Phong People’s Committee was working with key officials of Department of Industry and Trade on implementation progress of tasks and plans of early 09 months of 2021, and crucial tasks and plans of the fourth quarter of 2021.
Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Tho expressed his high consideration on attempts of the Department of Industry and Trade in implementation of assigned tasks, provision of its consultancy and proposals to the city regarding specific plans and programs. Also, Mr. Nguyen Duc Tho remained the Department of Industry and Trade continuously innovate, act drastically and be stick to works in order to improve workquality and efficiency even more. Indeed, it needed to review all already built industrial and commercial schemes, update and add new affairs from Resolution no. 45 of the Politburo, the 16th Congress’ Resolution of the City Party Committee, to finalize and make them feasible. The Department of Industry and Trade would pay attention to suggestion of specific programs and contents on development of industrial clusters and logistics, etc. in the city’s area; enhancement of its State management in fields of trade and industry; collaboration with Power Company and other power units in warranty of stable power supply for the city’s eco-social development.
According to the Department of Industry and Trade, during early 09 months of this year, the Department issued an Action Plan on implementing the 16th Congress’ Resolution and many designated programs and plans. By now, the Department completed 207 out of 240 tasks assigned by the City People’s Committee; the remaining 33 tasks have been continuously implemented. The State management in trade and industry has been strengthened, in that it was remarkable when the Department has organized many trade promotion and supply-demand connection activities and has guaranteed essential goods contributing to the COVID-19 prevention and control; implementing free trade agreements; guiding and monitoring trade in the city’s area.
Implement the 16th Congress’ Resolution of the City Party Committee, the Department of Industry and Trade has built scheme restructuring the city’s industry, the city’s supportive industries development plan by 2025, industries encouragement plan of Hai Phong in period of 2021-2025, industrial clusters development, export development scheme, e-commerce development, etc. The Department of Industry and Trade requested the City People’s Committee to soon approve programs and schemes relating to the submitted industrial and trade development./.
