On the afternoon of April 19, at the City Opera House, Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to commend and reward teachers and students with prizes in the national excellent student’s competition, the national science and technology examination in the school year of 2021-2022 as well as kick off the entrance examination for the national team to participate in the International Olympics 2022. The ceremony was attended by Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Anh Quan; leaders of the city departments, branches; Administrators, Teachers of schools with commended students.
At the recent national examination for excellent students, Hai Phong had 85/112 students achieving awards; including 6 first prizes, 28 second prizes, 30 third prizes and 21 consolation prizes, ranking the second place nationwide in terms of quantity. Meanwhile, Hai Phong had 01 third award and 01 fourth award in the national examination for science and technology for high school students in the school year of 2021-2022. These proud achievements affirm the studious spirit of Hai Phong people; proving the effectiveness in the works of fostering good students.
On this occasion, students, teachers and schools with the national prizes were granted certificates of merit from Chairman of the City People's Committee as well as rewards with a total value of more than 5 billion VND./.
