On the evening of October 19, at the Central Culture Center of Ha Nam Province, Cheo singingTroupe of Hai Phong participated in the National Cheo singing Festival 2022 with a play named “A glorious time”.
Attending the event was the Deputy Director of Art Performance Department, cum Head of Organization of the National Cheo singing Festival 2022 Tran Huong Duong. On the City’s side, there were Mr. Pham Xuan Thanh, member of the Municipal Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the City’s Agencies, Director of Sport and Culture Department Tran Thi Hoang Mai, and representatives of relevant departments.
The play “A glorious time” was transformed by poet Nguyen Hieu from a theatrical script into a literary work of the same name by writer Nguyen Tuan, combined with historical figure Cao Ba Quat (1809 – 1855). Through the image of Huan Cao, a talented, moral and always thinking for the people and nation, the story told about an adventure seeking national tradition when ancient features have been lost and disappeared.
The National Cheo singing Festival 2022 was an opportunity for artists and actors to express their love, deepen their passionate relationship with Cheo singing career as well as an important event for state management agencies to recognize and honor art talents./.
