On the morning of February 7, at the resettlement area of road No.359 (Hoa Dong Commune), Thuy Nguyen District held the tree-planting festival on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2022. The ceremony was attended by: Mr. Pham Van Lap, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Chairman of the City People's Council; Mr. La Thanh Tan, Deputy Head of Hai Phong Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; leaders of departments and agencies.
At the launching ceremony, Mr. Pham Van Lap together with leaders of departments, branches, Thuy Nguyen District Party Committee, Thuy Nguyen District People's Council, Thuy Nguyen District People's Committee planted trees at the resettlement area of Road No. 359 in Hoa Dong Commune, well setting the ball rolling for the season: "tree-planting - afforestation" in 2022 in the district area.

The youth union of Thuy Nguyen District participated in tree-planting festival in the resettlement area of Road No. 359.
This year, Thuy Nguyen District launched a campaign for departments, divisions, branches, unions, agencies, schools, hospitals, businesses, armed force units and 37 communes and towns in the district area; continue to well disseminate information, mobilize people and organize extensive emulation movements "every person plants trees, every household plants trees"; implement the tree-planting festival associated with planning, building new rural areas and civilized urban areas; plant flowers and ornamental trees on village roads and alleys, especially in new exemplary rural road systems; well carry out environmental sanitation to improve ecological environment, make environmental landscape greener, cleaner and more beautiful, helpingcreate highlights of green landscape, clean and beautiful environment; initially contribute to the formation of administrative and political center of Hai Phong City as well as civilized and modern Thuy Nguyen City in the future. Particularly in the resettlement area of Road No.359, on this occasion, Thuy Nguyen District organized to plant 50 trees including Dracontomelon duperreanum (sau), Khaya senegalensis (xa cu), and flamboyant tree.

Particularly, in 2021, Thuy Nguyen District completed the goal of planting 100,000 new trees./.
