On the morning of May 24, Chairman of the City People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tung and leadership representatives of departments, agencies, and localities visited and offered gifts to children in Do Son District on the occasion of International Children’s Day June 1.

Visiting and offering gifts to teachers and students at Van Huong Preschool, Chairman of the City People’s Committee wished teachers good health and success in completion of assigned duties, children care for their inclusive development, wishing students always being good students and becoming useful citizens for the country.

On the trip, the Chairman of the City People’s Committee went to visit, encouraging, and glorifying the efforts of Dinh Dinh Hien and his family. In 2007, Dinh Dinh Hien was orphaned by both parents, suffering a lack of red blood cells and stomach pains. Despite difficulties in family life, the kid has been making attempts to move forward and has been a good student of Van Son Junior High School.

Chairman of the City People’s Committee requested departments, agencies, social groups, and local administration to regularly pay attention and create favorable conditions to support the kid and other children coping with circumstance difficulties in life at the local area so that the children would have chances to access education and striving to become useful people for their families and the society./.
