On the morning of February 7 (January 7 Lunar Calendar), Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People's Committee attended the launching ceremony on “Tree-planting festival: Forever grateful to Uncle Ho” on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2022 at Nhan Hoa resettlement area - Vinh Bao Town (Vinh Bao District).

The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Dao Trong Duc, Member of the City Party Committee’s Standing Board, Head of the City Organization Commission; representatives and leaders of departments, branches and Vinh Bao District.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Canh, Chairman of Vinh Bao District People's Committee gave a launching speech at the ceremony.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Chairman of the City People's Committee and delegates participated in planting 90 Bombax ceiba (gao) and Khaya senegalensis (xa cu) trees in resettlement area of Vinh Bao Town.

Well aware of beloved Uncle Ho’s teaching: "Spring is the time of tree-planting festival, making our country more and more beautiful", over the past years, Vinh Bao District has widely launched the campaign of planting, and protecting green trees; creating fresh, green, clean and beautiful landscapes. In 2022, Vinh Bao District strives to plant more than 2,000 trees at planned traffic routes, campuses, and headquarters of agencies, units, schools, parks...

In order for tree-planting to be of high efficiency and widely spreaded among mass population, Vinh Bao District’s leaders required all local levels, branches and authorities to raise awareness and responsibility of each citizen; step up the campaign: “every person plants trees and every household plants trees” in association with socio-economic development, ecological environment protection, climate change prevention and control; focus on taking care and protecting the planted trees...
