On the afternoon of March 5, according to the Hai Phong Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism, Cat Ba is among the most searched travel destinations in Vietnam in early 2025, based on the latest evaluation data from the online travel platform Agoda.
The program "Symphony of Green Island" will officially launch on May 23.

Notably, starting May 23, the water motor show combined with fireworks, "Symphony of Green Island," will officially debut. This grand water performance, produced by H2O Events and Laser Vision, will transform the night sea into a massive stage of light, speed, and music. The program will feature 20 jet ski racers creating spectacular light trails, 8 flyboard athletes performing aerial stunts, and 3 performers flying over water in radiant LED costumes, alongside an impressive fireworks display. The show will run throughout the 4 summer months from 8:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
The "VUI-Fest Night Market" program will bring visitors unforgettable sleepless nights on the green island of Cat Ba.
In addition to the performances, Cat Ba will introduce the VUI-Fest night market, a vibrant food and entertainment space. This is Hai Phong’s first “Green Market” model, with stalls made from environmentally friendly materials. Visitors can enjoy craft beer, grilled seafood, live music performances, and participate in exciting activities such as henna painting and local art experiences. Furthermore, investment in tourism infrastructure such as the cable car system, electric buses connecting cable car stations to the town center, and electric buggies around the bay is making travel to and around the island more convenient and eco-friendly.
