Boosting Communication on the City’s Outstanding Socio-Economic Achievements in 2024

On the afternoon of January 9, the Hai Phong Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education, in coordination with the Department of Information and Communications and the Hai Phong Journalists Association, held a conference to provide information and conduct the January 2025 press briefing. The event was chaired by Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, Member of the Standing Committee and Head of the Commission for Propaganda and Education of the Hai Phong Party Committee.

At the conference, journalists and reporters from central and local media agencies were provided with updates on Hai Phong’s socio-economic performance in 2024, its targets and development directions for 2025, as well as the ten key economic achievements of the city in 2024 and social welfare policies planned for the Lunar New Year of the Year of the Snake (At Ty).

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Dao Khanh Ha, Head of the Hai Phong Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education, called on media agencies to intensify communication efforts on the city’s administrative restructuring and streamlining, in accordance with Resolution No. 18 of the 12th Central Party Committee. She emphasized the need to promote information related to the preparations for Party congresses at all levels, leading up to the 17th Hai Phong Municipal Party Congress.

Ms. Dao also urged the press to highlight the key messages of General Secretary To Lam, particularly on the themes of a "new era" and the resurgence of the Vietnamese nation, as well as the conclusions delivered by the General Secretary during his recent visit and working session in Hai Phong. These included his remarks on the project to build a socialist model associated with the socialist human being in Hai Phong.

Additionally, she stressed the importance of promoting Conclusion No. 96 of the Politburo on continuing the implementation of Resolution No. 45 concerning the construction and development of Hai Phong City to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
