On the evening of September 01, performing arts "Beautiful homeland" to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (19/08/2022) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (02/09/1945-02/09/2022) was being held at the City Theater Square.
The event was hosted by the City’s Center of Art Performance and under guidance of the Department of Culture and Sports, with participation of well-known singers and artists, whose careers have built from professional music competitions.
The event included 03 chapters, in which the first one was “Autumn of August” performed with animated dance “spark light in dark night”, songs “Viet Minh flag”, “August 19th”, “Honor to Ho Chi Minh”, etc.
The skit of Chapter II “My country is more beautiful than ever” brought audience to a sense of pride of Viet Nam Fatherland passing through thousands of years of history with rhythms such as “We go through the green mountains”, “Song of union”, Flag-Flying on the Eastern Sea”, “Praise the Motherland”, “Viet Nam – my homeland”.
Chapter III “Proud of my city” consisting of such performances are “Your city my city”, “Hai Phong lulling sunshine of May”, “New day’s sea gate” expressed pride in Hai Phong City with its tradition of loyalty, determination and readiness to grow strongly and reach far to become a leading pioneer.
The event ended within a proud echo of glorious achievements of previous generations, and then a respect and engagement of next generations to jointly protect and build the country richer and stronger./.
