To encourage the city’s artists to compose and perform art performances for propaganda promoting COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control throughout the city, on October 9 evening, Hai Phong Television will live stream the art performance “Yearning for Peace” implemented by Hai Phong Dance Troupe in collaboration with other units.
Artists are rushing to practice for the art performance.
The art performance “Yearning for Peace” consists of “Overcome Corona” and “Silent Soldiers”. Part 1 will resound songs “motherhood”, “White blouse”, “Soldiers on street”, “Overcome Corona”, “All people united against the pandemic” on the city and all people’s spirit and willingness of action in the fight against “the enemy”. Part 2 will comprise profound and proud songs on forces in the front line combating the pandemic, being aligned with the city people’s spirit. Lyrics such as “Mother gets in charge of night shift tonight”, “Covi goes fast”, “Kill out Corona”, “Hero shirt color”, “Power of Vietnam” make a great contribution to the fight against the pandemic. News documentarieson the forces at the front line against the pandemic, and exchange of the city’s artist community’s compliments and greetings when living in new peaceful atmosphere of the city will interleave with the art performance.
The program will be run under guidance of Department of Culture and Sports and through performance of the City Dance Troupe’s artists collaborating with some other art units in the city’s area.
