(Haiphong.gov.vn) –On the morning of March 13, at the Young Culture and Sports Palace, Hai Phong Youth Union – Vietnam Youth Association of Hai Phong city co-hosted the “Voluntary Blood Donation Day – Pink Sunshine No. 8”. This is one of the activities to celebrate 91-year anniversary of the founding of Ho Chi Minh National Youth Association (26/3/1931 - 26/3/2022), to celebrate the Month of Youth 2022 and Young Union Congresses at all levels.
Youth Union’s members and young people registered voluntary participation in blood donation
The voluntary blood donation Day is organized annually by the Standing Board of the Youth Union and the Secretariat of Vietnam Youth Association of Hai Phong city This is a practical and deeply humane in order to provide supplementary blood to the patients, contributing to reduce load of anemia at hospitals. Particularly in the complicated context of Covid-19 pandemic, the number of blood donors have decresed sharply.
At the event, Mrs. VuongToan Thu Thuy, Vice Secretary in charge of Hai Phong Youth Union, called on all officials, staffs, and youth people in the city within their spirit “Every compassionate heart” to uphold the volunteering and enthusiatically participating in blood donation, at the same time mobilizing relatives and friends to attend to blood donation, and keeping determination in successful deployment of the Voluntary Blood Donation Day in particularly and the city’s voluntary blood donation in general

On this occasion, groups and individuals gained excellent achievement in the city youth’s blood donation were praised and rewarded.
