On the evening of November 12, at the relic area of Cultural Celebrity Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem, Hai Phong City People's Committee held a ceremony to honor outstanding pupils and students of Hai Phong City in 2022. Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Van Tung, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the City People's Committee; Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee; leaders of departments under the Ministry of Education and Training and related sectors.
This year, the City commended and honored 167 outstanding pupils and students. This is the 18th awarding ceremony for outstanding pupils and students organized by the City to motivate and encourage pupils and students to continuously study and practice better and better; contributing to promoting activities of study encouragement and talent encouragement in the whole city; showing the attention of the city leaders, departments, agencies, unions and localities for educating and training talented students of the City and the Country. With the theme "Cultivating virtues, Practicing talents, Creating the future", the outstanding pupils and students completely achieved high academic results, cultivated ideals, ethics, and lifestyles; volunteered in the digital transformation.
Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Mr. Le Khac Nam acknowledged the innovations of the education and training sector for directing the teaching and learning activities substantively and comprehensively, contributing to enhancing the education quality. He also acknowledged that the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union had actively participated and created many innovations in the education activities of revolutionary ideals, morality, and cultural lifestyle for the city's young generation.
He requested the education and training sector to continuously improve innovation and quality; continuously pay attention and take care of finding out and training talents. Previously, 167 outstanding pupils and students honored on this occasion came to offer incense and report merits at the statue of Female General Le Chan, the Memorial House of Comrade Nguyen Duc Canh, the Monument of President Ho Chi Minh, and the relic area of Cultural celebrity Trang Trinh Nguyen Binh Khiem./.
